We are pleased to
announce that the 2nd International Conference on Graphene and 2D materials
(ICG2DM-2025) will be held on July 24-26, 2025, Frankfurt, Germany. The three-day
conference will bring together leading scientists, researchers, and
professionals from various fields of Graphene and 2D materials, to share their
latest findings, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations.
The main goal of the conference is to showcase
the advances and challenges in Graphene and 2D Materials, synthesis of Graphene
and 2D Materials, Ceramics and Composite Materials and more. The conference
will feature plenary and keynote lectures by eminent experts, oral and poster
presentations by participants, workshops and exhibitions by sponsors and
exhibitors.

David Morgan
Chief Strategy Officer

David is the Chief Strategy Officer at Carbon Rivers. Primarily, he leads logistics and client relations in the glass reclamation and upcycle programs for the wind energy market. In addition, he liaisons with the automotive, aerospace, agricultural, construction, and marine industries to supply next generation glass fiber for a variety of applications.
Having run a previous business, David engages public and private sector partners for contract acquisitions, investment groups, and business to business partnerships. Also, through his other business ventures David has experience in sourcing and procurement. He has traveled extensively and worked with many types of businesses so his role is essential for both US and international business development. David has led personnel and project management initiatives in manufacturing, academia, and small business environments. His contribution to Carbon Rivers is manifold and includes both running support for other team projects as well.
Luke Marden
Founder & Chief Engineer at Aqua Catalysis

Luke Marden is currently running a nanotechnology company, focussed on developing novel technology to treat wastewater to preserve biodiversity and lower energy consumption for the treatment process to contribute towards net zero.
Aqua Catalysis has worked University of Manchester's Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre, Henry Royce Institute, University of Salford, Oxford University and the University of Cambridge.
His passion lies in creating a sustainable future by integrating environmental conservation, social equity, and economic viability. I strongly believe that a sustainable approach is pivotal for the well-being of our planet and its inhabitants. Through my academic pursuits and practical experiences, I am gaining insights into sustainable practices, renewable energy, waste reduction, and conservation strategies.
He is dedicated to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field of sustainability with deep commitment to drive positive change in the world by setting up start-up companies with the aim of tackling environmental problems.

Gozde Koygun

Dr. Gözde Kayadibi Koygun (born in 1989 in Ankara-Turkey), who earned her Ph.D. in nanotechnology and advance materials (Selcuk University/Turkey). She graduated from the Biochemistry/Chemistry (Montana State- Selcuk University) program in the dual degree program and also did a double major in genetic engineering (Montana State University/USA). In recently, she focused on her research on smart drug delivery systems, anticancer potential of endemic extracts, photodynamic therapy agents, development of composite materials based on the association of polymers, synthesizing graphene, design and development of carriers for the controlled release of different molecules. During the master's, she had experience in vitro biological assays through the primary culture from breast cancer patients, and investigation of the molecular mechanisms of the efficacy of cancer drugs in breast cancer stem cell (like) cultures. As an academic entrepreneur, she is the founder of the innovative business women and youth association
Manoj Ram

More than 30 years of experience in material science & engineering, with two Masters (Physics & Physical Sciences), a doctorate (Physical Sciences; Conducting Polymers), and two post-doctorate (Materials Science & Biophysics). Dr. Ram has 10 US patents and 25 US patents pending, Edited/published 4 books, wrote 11 book chapters, 108 journal papers, and 22 conference proceedings.
